PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint metal fitting having excellent earthquake-resistant strength which prevents a column from being pulled from a foundation and destruction at the time of earthquake, is easy to install, and realizes low cost without necessitating connection work. SOLUTION: The joint metal fitting A for a wooden building is composed of a square column cylinder 1 having a square cross section erected by inserting a through column 17, a base board 2 which plugs an opening by fixing the lower end of the square column cylinder 1 by welding, and receives the lower end of the through column 17 and a fixing board 3 formed by extending outward neighboring two sides of the base board 2. A screw hole 4 to which a headless bolt 2 is screwed in is engraved at the center part of the fixing board 3.
