<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability by removing substances in exhaust gas of an engine and securing removal function by the self-purifying function. SOLUTION: The device body is provided interposed at a midpoint of an exhaust pipe, in which the exhaust gas discharged from the engine. A fabrous filter element, comprising fibrous ceramics and metals on which oxidation catalyst is coated, is arranged inside the device body. The by-pass exhaust pipe leading to the downstream side the exhaust gas on the upstream side form the filter element is provided. The relief valve is provided by which the by-pass exhaust passage in the by-pass exhaust pipe is opened, when the pressure differential of the exhaust gas, between the upstream side and the downstream side of the filter element, exceeds the set value.</p> |
