<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recording tape cartridge having both satisfactory guiding property and strength against drop impact when it is loaded onto a library device. SOLUTION: In the recording tape cartridge 10, an edge part of a leading head side in a loading direction (direction of arrow A) to a drive of a case 16 is made to a slant part 28 where a top plate 20 and a bottom plate 24 are inclined in the proximity direction with each other, and the guiding property of the library device to be loaded in the direction of arrow A is satisfactory when the library device is loaded onto a holder part. Moreover, in an installation region of holding grooves 40 and 42 holding a leader pin 18 connected to a tip part of a magnetic tape, reinforcement protrusions 50 and 52 are provided in the slant part 28, and sufficient thickness for the region is secured. Since these reinforcement protrusions 50 and 52 do not project from a principal surface 24A, etc., of the case 16, the guiding property is maintained.</p> |
