<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve multiple functions and high speed processing by mounting on a single chip microprocessor. SOLUTION: A small scale processor shares each function of process, memory, and management, and is arranged in a loop form in single direction by a shift register 68 which handles a packet of 12 byte length. The processor is virtually equipped with a packet reception part 62 receiving a packet, a packet transmission part 63 sending out a packet, a 4 K bytes virtual memory 61 consisting of 16 memory blocks, a program counter 65, 16 general purpose registers 66 a part of which is used as stack pointers, a 3 K bytes stack memory 67, and a control part 64 which controls each configuration component in the above and processes the function based on the instruction received in packets from outside.</p> |
