PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize thickness reduction of a case body while securing rigidity of a case body by carrying out without trouble ultrasonic welding of upper and lower cases which constitute the case body, in a single reel type tape car tridge. SOLUTION: The case body 1 of the square box shape is formed by coupling the upper and lower cases 1a and 1b in a way that the upper case 1a acting as a lid is fitted to the lower case 1b. A tape pullout port 4 to be opened and closed with a lid 5 is formed in the vicinity of a corner part 1D among four corner parts 1D, 1E, 1F, 1G of the case body 1. In the corner parts 1E, 1F, 1G of the three sides of the case body 1 except the corner part 1D having the tape pullout port 4, the ultrasonic welding of side walls 9a and 9b of the upper and lower cases 1a and 1b is carried out. In the case body 1, a partition wall 15 is integrally formed with the case body 1 in the part which faces a welding part M to which the ultrasonic welding of the upper and lower cases is carried out, and a space between the welding part M and a reel housing space 13 is partitioned by the partition wall 15.
