PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To build a TV phone system by utilizing a TV apparatus, a video camera apparatus, and set top box apparatus that are used at home. SOLUTION: A signal identification section 106 for identifying a TV phone signal from other signals for extraction is incorporated into a set top box 13, and a program 105 for controlling a TV 11 and a video camera 12 for a TV phone is built in. An information processing section 103 receives image and voice information from the video camera 12 via a video camera input section 102, and converts the image and voice information to the TV phone signal for outputting to a TV phone 14 of a destination side from an external line connection section 104. |
