PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording tape cartridge in which a leader member pulled out from a case can be surely locked into a take up reel at a drive side. SOLUTION: In the recording tape cartridge provided with the case where a single reel around which a recording tape is wound is housed, and the leader member which is fixed to a tip part of the recording tape, a pawl which is locked into a circulation groove formed in a pullout means at the drive side pulling out the recording tape by pressurization operation and is released from locking by the next pressurization operation is provided to the leader member.
