PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head slider having high impact resistance by preventing the damaging of the head slider or a disk caused by the collision of the head slider with the disk due to impact when the head slider approaches the surface of the disk, and a head supporting part using the head slider. SOLUTION: A medium opposite surface facing a disk is formed so as to cause rotation of a head slider 20 in a direction of reducing a pitch angle and a roll angle while maintaining the positive states of the angles by setting a position having a predetermined distance from the application point P1 of load force for energizing the head slider 20 toward the disk 2 as an immobile point G0 at least in the outside more than the downstream end of the head slider 20, when impact is applied to the head slider 20 from the outside to apply the impact force F on the application point P1 of the load force. By regulating the position of the immobile point G0, the head slider having endurance to the impact acceleration of about 800 G is realized, and reliability is greatly improved when the head slider is mounted on a portable device.
