摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric ceramic composition and a piezoelectric resonator in which no phase distortion occurs at frequencies between the resonance frequency and the antiresonance frequency; P/V can be increased; the temperature stability of an oscillating frequency is excellent in the temperature range of -20 deg.C to +80 deg.C; and the variations of properties due to the variations of burning can be suppressed. SOLUTION: The composition at least contains Ba, Bi and Ti as metal elements. The compositional formula based on molar ratio is expressed as Bi4 Ti3 O12 .x (Ba1-a Aa )TiO3 }, wherein x and a are 0.5<=x<=0.9, 0<=a<=0.4, respectively, and A has a main component consisting of at least one selected from among Bi, La, Nd, Gd and Pr, and 0.05-1.5 pts.wt. of Mn based on MnO2 relative to 100 pts.wt. of the main component.
