<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the effectiveness of simulation of various textile products with a three-dimensional image with realism by providing a method for automatically generating map data for representing various attributes inherent to textile products in generating a three-dimensional image of a textile product. SOLUTION: A thread information setting processing part 4 sets the type, shape, color and thickness of each thread to be used, a thread layout information setting processing part 5 sets the layout and density of each thread of the warp and woof, a system information setting processing part 6 sets crossing orders of the warp and woof, and an optical attribute information setting processing part 7 sets diffuse reflectance and mirror reflectance of each thread respectively. Optical attribute map data are generated with the optical attribute information of each thread and a surface composition diagram, recessed and projecting attribute map data are generated with thickness of each thread and crossing orders of the surface composition diagram, and transparent attribute map data are generated with the thickness and shape of each thread and the surface composition diagram respectively. Various pieces of map data are mapped to a three-dimensional object.</p> |
