PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device, which stops transmission when finding a malfunction in a detector circuit. SOLUTION: A second comparator 41 compares the voltages between an output signal of a detector circuit 29 and a second reference signal reference 2. The second reference signal is a DC voltage signal as a threshold to decide the output voltage of a second comparator 30, and is a signal as a reference to stop power supply to a transmission power control circuit so that a transmission signal is not transmitted from an antenna 11. When the output signal voltage of the detector circuit 29 is abnormally low, the detector circuit 29 is regarded as abnormal, and power supply to the transmission control circuit is stopped on the basis of the output signal of the comparator 41.
