PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector excellent in waterproofing effect and dust- proofing effect. SOLUTION: Among a terminal connection parts 36 of a projected part of a male terminal 32, a portion, which is located from a root part with male holders 33 and 41 to an insertion hole 29, is covered by a 2nd insertion-coupling part 38. Thereby, since there are a very few portions exposed among the terminal connection parts 36 of the projected part of the male terminal 32 as compared with the structure of the conventional connector, water and dust can not be adhered easily. For this reason, it becomes very rare that the water adheres to the exposed portion of the male terminal 32 and the dust invades into the connection portion of the male terminal 32 and the female terminal 28, and it will be electrically desirable. Consequently, the waterproofing effect and the dust-proofing effect are excellent.
