The gas burner (14) is placed axially in the suction from the convection turbine (9) and is turned in the direction of the turbine. The turbine has a cylindrical shape, with a flange supporting a number of short frontal blades around its periphery. The diameter of the turbine is third greater than the largest dimension of an adjacent peripheral wall (7). The gas burner has a circular crown shape with its horizontal axis perpendicular to the wall. Convection gas oven for cooking food, including: (a) a heat insulated casing with rectangular interior (8) limited by a lower floor and upper roof (3) and by four walls one of which (6) is fitted with an access door; (b) a centrifuge convection turbine (9), rotated by a motor (10), fitted in the cavity near to the center of a peripheral wall adjacent to the access door. The turbine rotates around an axis (11) perpendicular to the wall and is arranged to axially blow air towards the center of the wall and circulate air to the wall edges; (c) a gas burner (14) placed in the air circulation , and designed to heat the air circulating in the oven; and (d) a cooking volume (81) inside the casing for containing the food to be cooked.
