The procedure consists of placing fibre reinforcing elements (5) inside a Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) mold, using frontal injection of resin as a vacuum is created in the mold. The resin flows through an inner fabric drainage layer (4), is pumped through an outer fabric drainage layer (6), impregnates the reinforcing elements (5), then is polymerized and the component is removed from the mold. The procedure consists of placing fibre reinforcing elements (5) inside an RTM mold with a matrix (1), a die (2), injection (7) and recuperation (8) channels, using frontal injection of resin as a vacuum is created in the mold. The resin flows through an inner fabric drainage layer (4) and is pumped through an outer fabric drainage layer (6), impregnating the reinforcing elements (5). The resin is then polymerized and the composition component removed from the mold. The drainage fabric layers can form an integral part of the component being manufactured, and the flow of resin through the reinforcing elements can be enhanced by a vacuum created in a recuperation channel (8). For very large components ducts which act as vents can be used to produce a vacuum and for injection, and the insertion and impregnation of reinforcing elements can be carried out in phases.
