PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyboard instrument capable of switching between a play without beating a string which does not generate sound of the beaten string and a normal play which does not inhibit key touch by using a changable approach value. SOLUTION: The keyboard instrument is provided with the string 11 strung, hammer assemblies 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19 for turning and beating the string 11, a jack 33 for pushing up and turning the hammer assemblies, a key for transmitting force to the jack 33, a regulating rail 100 for switching the approach value between a value of the normal play and a value wider than that of the normal play, a hammer stopper 120 for enabling and disabling the hammer assemblies for beating the string, and a center pedal 110 for interlocking and switching the regulating rail 100 and the hammer stopper 120. |
