PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a volume controlling device of an electronic musical sound generating apparatus and the electronic musical sound generating apparatus which hardly deteriorate a S/N ratio caused by quantization noise by minimizing volume control at the stage of a digital musical sound signal. SOLUTION: In a step 20, a target gain variation of sound volume from an electronic instrument 1 is calculated. In a step 22, it determines whether or not the target gain variation exceeds -48 dB. If yes, an analog sound volume control data is set as -48 dB and a digital sound volume control data is set as ((the target gain variation) +48) dB in step 24. If no the analog sound volume control data is set as the target gain variation and the digital sound volume control data is set as 0 dB. |
