摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detector capable of detecting radiation from a low dosage rate field to a high dosage rate field. SOLUTION: The radiation detector is equipped with a DC component measuring circuit (direct current measuring circuit in Fig 1) 15 in addition to the scintillator 11, photomultiplier tube 12, high voltage generator 13 and pulse amplifier circuit 14 provided to a conventional radiation detector. By this constitution, the DC component of the current signal outputted from the photomultiplier tube 12 is converted to an output signal proportional to the current value thereof, for example, to a constant voltage pulse of frequency proportional to the current value to be outputted. The dosage rate or dose calculated from the output of the pulse amplifier circuit 14 is employed in the low dosage rate field and the dosage rate or dose calculated from the DC component measuring circuit 15 is employed in the high dosage rate field.
