<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationally configure a method for setting a luminance correction value by which quality is not deteriorated even when exposure is carried out to areas by using a similar hue and a similar density. SOLUTION: A plurality of test exposure dot lines EL are formed in a positionally separated relation by line exposure processing. The image information is fetched by scanning, the luminance correction value to uniformize the density of the test exposure dot lines EL is set as a line correction value and stored into a correction table. Then, area exposure processing is carried out in the state where the line correction value is set to form a text exposure area EA, and a luminance correction value to uniformize the density of the exposure dots of the test exposure area EA is set as an area correction value and stored into the correction table.</p> |
