PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless underwater communication device. SOLUTION: A high-frequency current is applied from a transmitter to multiple electrodes 4 provided underwater so as to create an electric field between the electrodes 4. In this electric field, multiple electrodes 5 are also positioned for detecting the high-frequency current between the electrodes, and a receiver 2 reproduces the detected signals.
