PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise operability of rotational movement of a lever. SOLUTION: A hood part 12, to which a female connector 20, which has the lever 35 inside, can be inserted, has a male housing 11. A housing main part 21 has a 2nd elastic piece 44 which can hold the lever 35 at the initial position by joining to a fitting piece 50 prepared in the lever 35. Among the insides of the hood part 12, in a portion, where counters to the fitting piece 50 of the lever 35, which is made as the initial position, while providing a escaping concave part 16, a releasing projected part 17, which can be fitted to the 2nd elastic piece 44, is provided. If both the connectors 10 and 20 are joined, the 2nd elastic piece 44 is pressed by the releasing projected part 17. Since the 2nd elastic piece 44 is elastically deformed to the inner direction by this, while canceling the fitting state with the fitting piece 50, the rotational move of the lever 35 is carried out from the initial position to a completion position side. Even if the fitting piece 50 opens outside in response to restoring power of the 2nd elastic piece 44 in this rotational moving process, the fitting piece 50 can escape by the escaping projected part 16.
