PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-core parallel extra-fine coaxial cable having a vapor-deposited tape in the vertical direction, which has superior bending characteristic, high shielding effect and fine shield stripping property. SOLUTION: Cores 4a and 4b which are obtained by coating insulators 3a and 3b on internal conductors 2a and 2b, are placed in parallel and applied on their outer periphery by the first laterally wound shield 5. On the periphery of a first shield 5, a second laterally wound shield 6 is applied in the direction opposite to the first wound shield 5. On the second laterally wound shield 6, a composite tape 9, comprising a plastic tape 7 of which one side has a metal- deposited layer 8 prepared by vaporization, is wound so that the metal-deposited layer 8 faces the laterally wound shield 6. The composite tape 9 is covered with a jacket 10.
