PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an Al alloy fin material for brazing, which can be thinned. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the aluminum alloy fin material for brazing, comprises casting a molten aluminum alloy including more than 0.3 but 0.6 mass% or less Mn, more than 1.3 but 1.7 mass% or less Fe, more than 0.8 but 1.2 mass% or less Si, and the balance Al with unavoidable impurities, by a twin-roll type continuous casting-directed rolling method, to make a tabular ingot of 2-9 mm thick, cold rolling the tabular ingot into a fin material, while interposing intermediate annealing twice or more times by batch in the middle of the cold rolling at a temperature range of 280-450 deg.C and of not completing recrystallization, and finally cold rolling the sheet at a reduction rate of 10-60% after the final intermediate annealing.
