PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a karaoke apparatus with a voice correcting function which timely raises or drops the voice an octave higher or lower, corrects the voice, and tune a pitch to a main melody. SOLUTION: The karaoke apparatus with a pitch shifter is provided with a voice pitch detecting means for sampling a voice signal from a microphone and recursively detecting the voice pitch, an indication pitch obtaining means for recursively obtaining the indication pitch to be vocalized at each sampling point of the voice signal in time sequence of a performance of a karaoke accompanied music from a karaoke accompanied musical data, the first error detecting means for detecting the difference between the voice pitch and the indication pitch, the second error detecting means for detecting the difference between a doubled or half value of one of the voice pitch and the indication pitch and another, and a pitch correcting means for converting the voice signal from the microphone in frequency, fitting to the indication pitch, and supplying to a mixing amplifier when a detected value from the first or second error detecting means is smaller than the prescribed value. |
