PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home appliance or an information equipment provided with a sound outputting device which supports household chores while conducting dialogue with users through speech. SOLUTION: The electronic information equipment is provided with an operation information detecting means 16 detecting the operation information of the equipment, an external information judging means 18 inputting sound information from the outside and judging the information, a language retrieving means 19 retrieving specific language information in response to the information judged in the external information judging means 18 and the information detected in the operation information retrieving means 16 and a sound outputting means 20 outputting the language information retrieved by the language retrieving means 19 as the speech. The equipment helps to promote the dialogue ranging from the information of the users as equipment information and sound information to the operating situation of the equipment and users' life wherein the equipment is used. It can not only soothe their mind by bringing grace to mechanical work by conducting the dialogue through the sound but also mitigate mental pain caused by the mechanical household work.
