PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and inexpensive frequency characteristic measuring instrument capable of measuring a frequency characteristic belonging to a medium with resonators mixed. SOLUTION: A truth/falsehood discriminating device 1 emits an impulse signal to a medium 2. The impulse signal equally includes all frequency components. For this reason, when all resonators 3 mixed in the medium 2 are irradiated with the impulse signal, electromagnetic waves of resonance frequencies of the resonators 3 are reemitted. The frequency characteristic of the medium 2 is measured by detecting the intensity of a reflected wave from the medium 2 in each received frequency of a receiving part B changed by a received frequency controlling part C. Thus, it is possible to make a main body small and to reduce costs.
