PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unprecedented new gel composition which, in spite of its gel state, is not applied by hands, can be contained within a cosmetics sprayer such as a dispenser and can be easily sprayed and applied in the form of mist, and returns to the original gel form after application. SOLUTION: The gel composition that can be sprayed in the form of mist in use, contains (a) a cationic polymer and (b) an anionic polymer not having a spinnability but having a thickening effect. The component (a) and (b) form a complex and a weak bond exists between adjacent complexes due to aggregation of the complexes. The composition becomes gel having a viscosity of 500-2500 mPa.s (30 deg.C) because of the aggregation of the complexes.
