PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for removing a coating film of a large treatment capacity without becoming a large-size device. SOLUTION: As for the induction heating device of the removing device of a coating film, a magnetic material core 1 is installed inside of a protecting container 4, and a high frequency coil 2 consisting of air-cooled Litz wire is wound and installed around the magnetic material core 1. As for the high frequency coil 2, coils 17 are arranged in multi-stages in the rectangular direction to magnetic flux to chain-cross with this. The coated film layer 10 of the structural material can be removed so that the coated film is made to be separated by a scraper after the coated film layer is heated beforehand to be softened by means of the induction heating device. At the container 4, an inflow entrance 18 for air-cooling to introduce the air into the inside and a drain hole 19 of the air are formed.
