PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recording and reproducing device accurately capturing audio data by detecting and correcting each defect of data such as the data deviation or data transformation of main data or sub-code Q in the buffering process. SOLUTION: This device is furnished with an address detecting means 46 for detecting leading addresses A1, A2... of each block of the main data recorded in a buffer memory 42, a discriminating means 48 for discriminating whether the leading addresses A1, A2... become integral multiples of the specified information amount for every block or not and for discriminating whether the leading addresses A1, A2... for every block are continuously increased by each specified information amount for every block or not, and a 1st correcting means 50 for controlling so as to record over again the main data being recorded in the buffer memory 42 when the leading address does not become the integral multiple of the specified information amount for every block, or when the leading addresses are not continuously increased by each specified information amount for every block.
