摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface light source device that enhances brightness. SOLUTION: LED 36a, 36b are arranged on FPC 34 for F/L. The FPC 34 for F/L 34 is inserted through notched grooves 33a, 33b of a reflector 31. The LED 36a, 36b are positioned on one main surface of the reflector 31 that exists in the outside of the notched groove 33a, 33b. A lamp guide 32 is arranged on one main surface of the reflector 31 that exist in the inside of the notched groove 33a, 33b. The lamp guide 32 opposes the LED 36a, 36b. The side of the reflector 31 does not intercept a portion of emitted light out of the LED 36a, 36b. The whole of emitted light out of the LED 36a, 36b is incident into the lamp guide 32. The lamp guide 32 guides light that is incident into the lamp guide 32 to a surface direction. Brightness of light that is guided into the lamp guide 32 out of the LED 36a, 36b can be enhanced.
