PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam turbine, capable of obtaining sealing effect of steam in a sealing part, despite its running state being always stable. SOLUTION: A steam turbine 1 differs in setting two short seal fins 32, 42, capable of being facing projected rims 52, 62 with each other as compared to conventional cases. For two seal fins 32, 42, an intervalλfor the mutual interval in the longitudinal direction of a turbine rotor 7 is set according to the relationλ≈W andλ<= for the width W of projected rims 52, 62.
