PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording tape cartridge in which a recording tape can be suitably wound around a take up reel at a drive side. SOLUTION: The recording tape cartridge is provided with a case where a single reel around which a recording tape is wound is housed, and a leader member to which a tip part of the recording tape is wound around, which is pulled out by a pullout means at the drive side, and which becomes a hub of the take up reel at the drive side.
