PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing transmission power of a radio communication system having a cell which is divided into a plurality of sectors. SOLUTION: This radio communication system having a cell which is divided into a plurality of sectors is provided with a base station which communicates with a mobile station in the cell. The base station is provided with a transmitter which transmits communication signals via at least two carriers in every sector in the cell. To the respective carriers in the sector, zones which are isolated from an inside zone in the vicinity of the base station to an outside zone are assigned, and power in every carrier is decreased toward the inside zone from the outside zone. |
