PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance accuracy of a user authentication, to prevent the increase in the traffic involved in the user authentication, and to make the user authentication available even in a terminal having a small memory capacity like a cellular phone. SOLUTION: An IP server W holds voiceprint data corresponding to a user to whom its own server provides a service and an authentication program to perform user authentication. When a user of a mobile machine MS uses the mobile machine MS to receive the service provided by the IP server W, the IP server W transmits the voiceprint data and the authentication program held by its own server to the mobile machine MS. The mobile machine performs the user authentication in accordance with the voiceprint data and the like transmitted from the IP server W. When the user of the mobile machine MS changes the service content during enjoying the service, the downloading of voiceprint data and the authentication program will not be carried out if these data have already been downloaded to the mobile machine MS. |
