PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for optimizing component mounting order corresponding to a highly productive component mounter. SOLUTION: In a component mounter that is provided with a multi-loading head for sucking up to n components (n=4 in this case) at the same time, (i) all components to be optimized are arranged in order of larger number of components by a unit of a component tape uniting a group of components of same kind as one component tape to generate a component histogram 406a, (ii) a section histogram 400, a part of the generated component histogram 406a, is picked up therefrom and it is placed in a two-dimensional coordinate where the arrangement of a component cassette is abscissa (Z axis) and the suction frequency of a work head is ordinate, and (iii) section histograms 401a and 401b are placed to arrange the component tapes as to generate a diagram 406b where the width in the direction of ordinate (the number of parts) becomes n (n=4). |
