Composition for making fire-resistant plastics comprises 80.5-93.5 wt.% polypropylene, 8-15 wt.% flame retardant and 0.5-4 wt.% of an additive comprising an ultraviolet stabilizer. An Independent claim is also included for a process for blow molding a composition as above, comprising using an extruder temperature profile of 180-190 deg C and a peripheral screw speed of 0.2 m/second.
