摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize effective simultaneous reproduction of purifying means of an exhaust emission control device of an internal combustion engine provided with DPF(diesel particulate filter) and the NOx absorbent. SOLUTION: In simultaneous regeneration, the region determination is made on the basis of air quantity Qaexh in combustion residual gas and temperature TDPF of the DPF. When no DPF deterioration occurs, even after making exhaust air/fuel ratio rich by post injection (FTVC=0), regeneration is conducted by the post jet; while when DPF deterioration by the post-injection possibly occurring (FTVC=1) is taken into account, the post-injection quantity for DPF reproduction is read. By so doing, the required intake air quantity Qareq to make the exhaust air/fuel ratio rich is calculated (S26).
