<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for enabling a correct estimation of SIR even if the difference is small between the amounts of delay in paths. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a path delay difference comparator 14 that receives, input the amounts of delay in the paths that are detected by a path detector 10 that takes received signals as input, to extract pairs of paths such that the difference between the amounts of delay in the paths is not greater than a predetermined threshold, multiple reverse spreader 111 to 11K for performing reverse spreading according to the amounts of delay in the paths specified by the path detector, SIR estimators 121 to 12K for estimating respectively SIR values for each of the paths, multiple carrier wave phase estimators 131 to 13K for estimating the carrier wave phases for each of the paths, a carrier wave phase comparator 15 for comparing the phases between the path carrier waves in the pairs of paths such that the difference between the amounts of delay in the paths is not greater than the predetermined threshold to extract the pairs of paths such that the difference between the phases is not greater than a predetermined threshold, and a SIR comparator 16 which considers, the paths in the pairs of paths such that the difference between the carrier wave phases is not greater than the predetermined threshold value, as the same and outputs selectively the larger one of SIRs in paths of the pair to control for making the SIR use for the SIR computation in a SIR synthesizer 17.</p> |
