PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic imaging member having excellent characteristics. SOLUTION: The negative-working imaging member comprises a support and a hydrophilic imaging layer that is present on the support and includes a dispersion of at least 0.05 g/m<2> cyanoacrylate polymer that is thermally degradable below 200 deg.C, a photothermal conversion material that is present in an amount to provide a dry weight ratio to the cyanoacrylate polymer of from 0.02:1 to 0.8:1 and a hydrophilic binder that is prevent in an amount to provide a dry weight ratio to the cyanoacrylate polymer of up to 1:1.
