PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lever type connector, which has few rickety move after coupling of male and female connectors, and raises the operability at the time of lever releasing. SOLUTION: The lever type connector 30 has the lever 40 attached in the outer wall of female type connector housing 31 in rotational free movement. A pair of female-side lever fitting bosses 37 is provided with projections on the both-side walls of the female type connector housing 31. Moreover, in the back end of the female type connector housing 31, a stop faces 39 are provided with standing posture in the both sides of a lever lock part 38, which locks the lever 40, which has been rotated at the time of connector insertion. Moreover, the lever 40 consists of a pair of lever main parts 41, which have a lever fitting hole 43, and a rotating operation part 42, which joints these lever main parts. A pair of projections 47 for preventing rickety are provided by both the outsides of housing lock parts 46 on a contact face 45 of the rotating operation part 42. Furthermore, all the circumferences of the lever-fitting hole 43 of the lever main parts 41 are equipped with cylinder-like ribs 48.
