PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiver which does not have roughness in viewing to take place on a tube screen. SOLUTION: The deflection circuit is provided with a correction circuit, that calculates the slope of a flat part of a stepped waveform, on the basis of a vertical deflection current waveform in the stepped waveform after synthesized to obtain flatness so as to automatically adjust the gain of a modulation wave.
