PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a transmission signal state containing transmission information. SOLUTION: Signal light consisting of several photons containing transmission information and classical light are combined by a wave length mixer 30a, pass through a transmission line 80, and are separated by a wave length separator 40a. After the separation, the classical light is input into a polarized light beam splitter 110 and the separated light is output to each photo diode (PD1, PD2) from two output ports. Change in the polarized state of the classic light is observed using a polarized state monitor 50a. A polarized wave controller 60a corrects the polarized state of the signal light consisting of the several photons inputted into the polarized controller 60a and makes possible to accurately detect the several photons detected in a photon detector 70. |
