PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance laser drive circuit which can quickly change the recording and the reproducing. SOLUTION: The laser drive circuit includes a monitor signal generating means 72 to which a signal from a monitor element MD is inputted, a differential amplifier (DFA) 5 in which an output of the monitor signal generating means 72 is inputted to one input terminal and in which a reference signal is inputted to the other input terminal, a low-pass filter(LPF) 6 which receives an output from the differential amplifier (DFA) 5, a recording/reproducing correction switch (RWSW) 33 which changes a recording correction signal (VW) 11 by a recording/reproducing pulse (WP) 10, and an adder 31 which adds an output of the low-pass filter(LPF) 6 to an output of the recording/ reproducing correction switch (RWSW) 33. |
