PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium for storing additive information for supporting the special functions among manufacturing business bodies and a recording/editing system and a method for the same and to provide a device for reproducing the manufacturing business body information for supporting the special functions. SOLUTION: When the recording device deforms the contents of the recording medium, the manufacturing business body identification codes thereof need to be recorded. The recording/reproducing device ought to check the identification codes on the recording medium before using its own manufacturing business body information for the special functions. As a result, the time required for judging whether the manufacturing business body items are effective or not is shortened.
