PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an high qualified image display on an overall image plane, eliminating nonuniformity of brightness and defect by a beam dislocation produced by charge-up of a display spacer and nonuniformity of a printing brightness, and improving a display image quality. SOLUTION: It provides a rear plate 12 arranged with an emission element 5 of an electron source and a transparent substrate 9 opposed to the rear plate 12, includes a plural luminescent spot which emits, being illuminated to a phosphor 2 fit on the transparent substrate 9 by the electron beam illuminated from the emission element 5, and provides an optical filter 10 optically changing a form of the aforementioned luminescent spot on the transparent substrate 9, which is the optical filter constitution canceling a move of a center of gravity within an opening 6 of the electron beam by moving gap of the electron beam, by a change of an optical beam form.
