PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information signal recording method capable of removing the correlativity between adjacent tracks by using a scramble signal produced from a cyclic code having an initial value which is the value obtained on the basis of an address value of each sector. SOLUTION: In the information signal recording method for scrambling the information signal S3 by the scramble signal S2 when the signal S3 is recorded on an information recording medium 5 having a circulating information track, the signal produced from the cyclic code having the initial value which is the value obtained on the basis of the address value of each sector, is used as the above scramble signal. By this arrangement, the correlativity between the adjacent tracks is removed, and the stable tracking control is attained.
