PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for extracting a peak of waveform data for detecting the peak to be detected by removing maximum values and minimum values of a predetermined value or less included in the waveform data acquired by an antenna pattern measuring system or the like as unwanted noises. SOLUTION: The method for extracting the peak of the waveform data comprises the steps of simplifying extracting process of maximum points and minimum points and the waveform data by a software of a PC 12 of a waveform processing means from the waveform data of a unit 17 to be tested acquired by a measuring instrument 13, re-extracting the maximum points and the minimum points, deleting the unwanted noises, and extracting the peak to be detected.
