PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability for planning channel, and to preserve information of an object to be targeted corresponding to an azimuth change point. SOLUTION: The electronic chart device, which has a function of planning channel that sets a channel by in turn setting azimuth changing points WP on a chart displayed on a display 2 on the basis of chart data, includes an operating section 3 which inputs information of positional relation representing the positional relation between the object to be targeted A and an azimuth changing point WP2 being set next and inputs information of the angle formed at the azimuth changing point WP2 by the object to be targeted A and a line connecting an azimuth changing point WP1 being set beforehand and the azimuth changing point WP2 being set next, and a calculating/processing section 1 which sets the azimuth changing points WP2 being set next on the basis of the information of positional relation and the information of angle being input from the operating section 3.
