PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical material composition, an optical material, a method of manufacturing the same and a liquid crystal display device and a light-emitting diode using the same which have high optical transparency, little photodeterioration and toughness. SOLUTION: This optical material composition contains as an essential component (A) triallyl isocyanurate, (B) a silicon compound containing at least two SiH groups in a molecule, (C) a hydrosilylation catalyst and (D) a thermoplastic resin wherein the (D) component is one or more polymers selected from among a butyl acrylate-based polymer, a butyl methacrylate-based polymer and a methyl methacrylate/butyl acrylate-based copolymer.
