PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insert a terminal metallic parts in a regular posture, without causing enlargement of a connector. SOLUTION: In addition to a stop position just behind a rubber cork 30, a rubber cork holder 40 is made possible to be held in the temporary stop position where is separated with a predetermined size from the rubber cork 30 at a back direction. When a male-side terminal metal parts 10 is inserted in a state, which the rubber cork holder 40 is in the temporary stop position, even if it is inserted in a terminal insertion opening 41 with a slanting posture before the tip of a tab 12 reaches the rubber cork 30, it is guided by the inside of the terminal insertion opening 41, and is corrected in a straightforward posture. Even if the inclination remains, since the slant angle is regulated by the degree, which the tab 12 hits to a guide, face 35, it proceeds into a wire insertion hole 31 while being guided in respect of the guide face 35 and being corrected similarly to the straightforward posture. If the insertion of the male- side terminal metal parts 10 is completed, the rubber cork holder 40 is stuffed into this main stop position, and is entirely settled in a wearing pipe part 23.
