摘要 The invention relates to a method for removing heavy metals, metals, arsenic, uranium and radium from polluted waters by means of a multi-component reactive material in the form of a granulated titanium oxide hydrate. Heavy metals, metals, arsenic, uranium and radium are removed from polluted waters by means of a method that is characterized in that the waters are guided via natural and/or technical cavities in the flow paths of the waters and/or via technical devices to which the waters are fed, as wells as by means of a homogeneous mixture having a high mechanical and chemical stability and a large inner surface in the form of a granulated titanium oxide hydrate. The aim of the invention is to provide an effective and inexpensive method for removing heavy metals, metals, arsenic, uranium and radium from polluted waters that requires few components and that reliably meets, safeguards or even undercuts the legal requirements, conditions set by the authorities and rules relating to the use of water with respect to the reduction of concentrations in heavy metals, metals, arsenic, uranium and radium over an as long a service time as possible. The inventive method is further characterized in that no additional ions are taken up from or released into the drinking waters and/or mineral waters to be purified from pollutants and that causes little waste and costs in the case of disposal or storage.
